We are a residential and commercial cleaning service located in Jacksonville, Florida. The Radiant Homes Initiative is a philanthropic amendment created by its Founder Derek Gregory. We offer free home cleaning to cancer patients in Jacksonville, FL and surrounding communities.

The Birth of the
Radiant Homes Initiative
In 2009, “Pearlstine’s Free Cancer Cleaning” was conceived by Pearlstine’s Cleaning Founder and Owner Derek Gregory as he visited his aunt who had been diagnosed with cancer. While witnessing the physical and emotional toll his aunt’s cancer treatment had on her, Derek had a first-hand view how minimal tasks for the once strong and independent woman had now become enormous and taxing.
Derek made it his duty and daily routine to visit his aunt so that he could help her with ordinary household chores. As Derek went about his everyday life, he noticed there was a need in the community to assist others that were sick with cancer with similar needs, and “Pearlstine’s Free Cancer Cleaning” was born. In 2023, PFCC was renamed “Radiant Homes Initiative” but retained the same goal: to fight cancer– one clean home at a time.
Our mission is to offer neighborly support by donating free residential cleaning to cancer patients.
Our commitment to this cause goes beyond just providing a service; it is driven by compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make difference. We have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of a clean home and the positive impact it can have on the lives of these families. It is an honor for us to contribute to their overall well-being and help create an environment that fosters healing, relaxation, and peace of mind.

We understand that cancer not only takes a toll on physical health but also places immense emotional and financial burdens on families. That’s why we have made it our mission to alleviate some of their stress by creating a clean and healthy living environment, allowing them to focus on what truly matter: their well-being and spending precious moments with their loved ones.
Through our Radiant Homes Initiative, we work closely with local support organizations and charities to identify families who can benefit from our services. We strive to be transparent in our selection process and ensure that those who truly need assistance receive it. By collaborating with these organizations, we extend our reach and collectively support the cancer community, forming a network of care and support.
Each patient receives two standard home cleanings (one cleaning a month for two months)
at no cost to the individual or family.
Patients may choose to continue working with Pearlstine’s Cleaning by paying for continued services.

Together, we make a tangible difference in the lives of families impacted by cancer and bring them a little comfort during their challenging journey.

Enhancing Air quality in Patients' homes
As of May 1, 2023, Pearlstine’s Cleaning LLC instituted a directive that’s optional for all patients selected for the Radiant Homes Initiative. Recent studies have shown that better quality air and surrounding environment improves the overall health of patients recovering from surgery and those in active treatment.
We will offer our preferred Indoor Air Quality component with each cleaning. It will involve the deployment of one or more air scrubbers in the patient’s residence. It will ensure a healthier environment by enhancing air quality. This proactive measure helps mitigate potential airborne contaminants and contributes to a cleaner living space. Considering the unique health challenges and sensitivities cancer patients may face, there is no charge for this feature, and does not require the use of the patient’s electricity. Feature is completely optional.

Our Radiant Homes Initiative is a charitable initiative created by Pearlstine’s owner & founder, Derek Gregory. We offer free home cleanings to cancer patients in Jacksonville and surrounding communities. We believe in the power of community and the profound impact small acts of kindness can have on families facing challenging times. That’s why we have established our Radiant Homes Initiative program, dedicated to providing free home cleanings to families who have been impacted by cancer. This cause is incredibly important to us, and we want our community to understand the depth of our commitment.
We offer this service to anyone in the Jacksonville, FL area with any type of cancer. Eligible patients include those who are currently receiving any kind of cancer treatment, recovering from cancer surgery, in hospice care, and/or in a terminal state.
There is no cost to patients or their families.

Yes. If you are family, a friend, caregiver, colleague, nurse, or doctor of a cancer patient, we would encourage you to apply on their behalf. However, please be sure to ask the patient for consent to the service before submitting an application.
Our application does require patient information, such as name, email, address, etc, so please have these details handy. Click here to apply.
Once being notified of acceptance, patient will receive two home cleaning sessions (one standard cleaning a month for two months) at their registered address. Please note that this service does not include deep cleanings.
Aside from sanitizing each sprayed and wiped surfaces, all teams are required to don cleaning accessories (Nitrile gloves, booties, optional hair nets, and masks) at patient’s discretion.
All of our cleaning products are EPA ECO-Friendly. We’ve chosen Enviro-Brands as our lead cleanup brand.
